11 February 2013
HCA has started the year very positively winning two major awards, together with the recruitment design and creative partner Pink Squid.
The prestigious RAD (Recruitment Advertising Design) awards ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Thursday January 31st with over 1,000 HR professionals and agencies in attendance.
The judges said the recruitment campaign website entry was: "A refreshing concept where you get all the same rich visuals and experience on tablet and desktop". The website was part of a larger advertising campaign which helped to recruit over 30 paediatric nurses. HCA was competing with a range of well known companies in this category including Aviva, Linklaters, Grant Thornton and LV.
In one of the most contested categories - “Best Employer Brand” - HCA beat all other short-listed organisations including major brands Mars, Telefónica and EAT. The RAD Judges complimented the winning creative work describing the “strong methodology" in the collection of work which included the new Grapevine intranet, events marketing and advertising campaigns.
Sarah Beane, Head of Corporate HR said, “I‘m absolutely delighted with both the quality of this work and the return on investment achieved. The HCA HR Team worked hard with our agency Pink Squid to establish HCA in the recruitment market and as we were up against some strong competition; it’s a real honour to win both awards. Thank you to everyone who worked with us”.
Jasy Loyal Executive Director/VP Legal & HR Services said, “These awards recognise the hard work and talent of the HR team and our agency and I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed to the winning entries”.
