The Cardiac Services department at The Wellington Hospital is one of the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom and some of the nation's most distinguished cardiologists and cardiac surgeons lead its specialist medical teams.
There are more than 45 beds occupying two floors dedicated to the care of in-patient and day case treatment cardiac patients. Both intensive care and progressive care beds serve the unit and the adjacent Rehabilitation Unit helps patients to regain their health as quickly as possible.
