Rheumatology
Our team of rheumatologists provide a full range of diagnostic, management and treatment services for patients with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions, which includes inflammatory arthritis, soft tissue conditions, autoimmune rheumatic disorders, osteoarthritis, spinal pain and metabolic bone disease. Musculoskeletal conditions affect people of all ages and As some other organ systems may also be affected, their management can be complex.
Conditions can vary dramatically in their severity and different joints can be affected. As Rheumatology is a multidisciplinary specialty, our team works in close liaison with orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists and other specialists particularly within our Pain Unit and Rehabilitation Unit, to achieve overall better quality of life.
