The skin is the largest organ of the body and is affected by a similarly large range of conditions, major and minor, from a cosmetic blemish such as a birthmark to a serious melanoma that may result from many years of exposure to the sun.
The Wellington team of dermatologists provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of dermatological problems including, skin cancers, mole evaluation, psoriasis and eczema, cutaneous lymphoma, and many other general skin disorders, all of which are supported by surgical, imaging and specialist nursing expertise and resources.
Our resident dermatologists, Dr Anne Powles and Dr Sean Whittaker also work frequently with other surgeons at the Wellington to minimise scars or improve their appearance.
