All patients are provided with a Patient Satisfaction Survey to provide us with feedback, as the quality of your experience can only be assessed by you. This information remains anonymous and is reviewed monthly then shared throughout the hospital to improve our service.

Summary of our latest Patient Satisfaction Survey Results for 2014

During the period January 1st to December 31st 2014 The Wellington Hospital received 3,041 completed patient feedback questionnaires.

We are pleased to report that 98.6% of patients who responded rated their Overall Quality of Care as good or better.
On other key issues the patient ratings for this hospital were as follows (all % good or better):

  • Overall impression of admission 97.2%
  • Overall nursing care 97.3%
  • Accommodation 98%
  • Catering 92%
  • Departure 94.9%

All our staff are dedicated to providing the best possible patient care and patients are particularly appreciative of their efforts. We asked patients whether they were treated with respect and dignity while they were in hospital and 99.8% told us they were.
